There are things that are said between the lines that aren’t always said with words. Jesus used parables to communicate truths to those who would hear Him speak. In Luke 6:20-36, Jesus explains the Beatitudes (I had a youth pastor who said they were the “BE” attitudes). He said more between the lines than he did with actual words.
